Some studies have even shown it to be an important factor in reducing the risk of heart disease by ensuring calcium doesn’t build up in large amounts around the heart. Though K2 is found less frequently in food, it gets distributed far more evenly around the bones and the tissue than other vitamins. Look out for it in beef and chicken liver, hard and soft cheeses, egg yolks and whole milk.
